When was the last time you had a really good cry?

Have you been feeling a little bit down recently? I know I have – we’re not alone and it’s actually not a bad thing.According to Chinese Medicine, Autumn is associated with grief and sadness, so it’s normal to feel that way during this time year. Just as the trees let go of their leaves during Autumn, it’s best for us to let go of our sadness. If we try to deny or push away these feelings, it will only make things worse for us as we move into Winter. The best thing to do is to open up to the sadness, express it, and let it go. In this video I give a tip on how you can do that: “Avoiding emotional stagnation during Fall.”

You may need to express sadness several times to get it moving and then you may notice a lot of emotional space, which actually feels good. Once

you feel that space, you have the freedom to create a new emotional state….so we don’t have stay gloomy 🙂

Acupuncture is another powerful tool for relieving depression :https://www.scientificamerican.com/article/can-acu… In fact Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine can help us through these seasonal changes or anytime we’re feeling down – If you could use some support, I’m only a phone call away.

Once the trees lose their leaves, they move on…and so do we.
